Friendships!  That is what we are about!  At Powersource we want everyone to feel welcome, known, and cared about.  This is a place where you can be yourself.  We think you will discover some great friendships here!  The most important friendship we hope you will find is with Jesus Christ, a friend you can turn to in every situation!

Here are what some students are saying about Powersource:

"It is awesome!  We get to experience great things with our friends"  Come join us this week! We're glad we came!

We're also about helping you discover a purpose worth living for, in fact, one for which you were specifically created!  We all need to live for something bigger than ourselves, something that has meaning and impact.  Come and experience a student ministry designed with you in mind.

FAQ

How do I get there?

We are on Palm Beach Blvd, (State Rd. 80, Exit 141 off I-75) just east of I - 75 and adjacent to Manatee Park.  We are directly across the street from the FPL Power Plant.  You can't miss us.  You can visit the church website at www.crossroadsbaptist.net and click contact us for a map and more information about our church.

What should I wear?

Whatever your style is, you can wear it.  Goth, Redneck, Prep, Mullet, Mohawk, Skater, Jock, you get it.  We just ask you keep it modest.  For some events, we have a general dress code and will let you know it with plenty of advance notice.

Where do I go when I get to the church?

Come to the pavilion.  It is the smaller building in the back on the SE corner of our property.  Pretty basic from the outside, but it's a really cool place with game tables, couches, concession stand, theatrical lighting, rockin sound, black light carpet, lots of decoration, video games, and more.

What happens when I get there?

When you first walk in you will be greeted.  All of our students are asked to sign in and if you are a first-time guest, you will be asked to fill out a student information sheet.  It helps us get to know you better.  Only fill out what you are comfortable telling us.  One of our adult or student leaders will introduce you to a few students and then you can feel free to join in with whatever is happening.  A typical Wednesday night would start with some free time to enjoy the concession stand, games, talking, music videos or funny clips, sports, etc.  Once we get started with our worship you can expect a mixture of drama, praise and worship band, video clips, games, small groups, a speaker, students sharing their stories or talents, and more.  No one Wednesday night is the same.  Afterward is another great time to hang out and meet students, play, get a Mt. Dew or a candy bar.  Our youth pastor and the adult leaders are always available afterward for questions, prayer, or just to talk.  If you're visiting they would love the chance to talk with you and get to know you.

How do I find out the dates/times of your services and events?

Just visit the home page for our weekly times and the calendar or events page for upcoming youth events.  Click on any calendar event for details.   Check out the news page also.  If you want information about the church or other ministries besides student ministry, then visit the church site.  We will post flyers, event information, newsletters, and more on the website.  So visit us often for updates.
